Firearm Magazine Tracker: Round Counts & Reliability
How much use has each magazine had? Were malfunctions recorded when it was used? Which firearm and ammunition were involved?
myArmsCache keeps magazine records connected to your range activity, giving you a history to review instead of relying on memory.
Keep Your Magazine Inventory Organized
Keep a record of your magazines and link them to the firearms you use them with. A magazine can be linked to multiple firearms, so its place in your collection is not limited to one gun.
Build a History for Each Magazine
Tracking use over time helps you answer practical questions:
- How many rounds have I logged through this magazine?
- Have malfunctions been recorded during its use?
- What firearm and ammunition were selected in those reports?
The value comes from keeping those details connected across your recorded range sessions.
Update Magazine Round Counts From Range Reports
When you enter a Range Report, select the magazine along with the firearm and ammunition used. Enter the rounds fired and any malfunctions you recorded.
Saving the report updates the round and malfunction counts for the selected items.
You enter what happened during the session. myArmsCache carries that information into the connected records.
Keep Malfunctions in Context
A malfunction count is more useful when you can review the circumstances around it.
Range Reports keep the magazine, firearm, ammunition, and your malfunction notes together. That gives you a record of the setup used when a problem occurred.
A recorded malfunction does not establish that the magazine caused it. Keeping the details together gives you more context when reviewing recurring issues.
