All the data you enter in the myArmsCache app is stored on your device. The app doesn’t sync data between devices — but if you want your data on more than one device, you can use File Sharing to copy the databases to your computer and then to your second device. Here’s how:
File Sharing Instructions (also known as iTunes File Sharing)
The instructions for File Sharing differ slightly depending on what operating system you are using, so I’ve included detailed instructions below for Windows and Mac users, as well as links to the Apple website.
*** WARNING *** Do not attempt to edit or modify the database files on your computer; doing so could cause serious issues and corrupt the data.
Windows
If you’re using Windows, here are basic instructions you can follow:
1. Connect your device that has the data on it to your computer
2. In iTunes, Go to the myArmsCache Folder and select/copy all 3 files to your computer
3. Disconnect your device
4. Connect your second device (you need to already have the myArmsCache app installed)
5. In iTunes, Go to the myArmsCache folder
6. Drag/copy ALL 3 files on your computer (from step 2) to the myArmsCache folder on your second device
7. Disconnect your second device
8. Open the myArmsCache app. If you don’t see the items, completely close the app and reopen it.
* If the screen comes up prompting you to purchase a subscription, scroll down and tap on Restore Purchase.

Mac
If you’re using a Mac, here are basic instructions you can follow:
1. Connect your device that has the data on it to your computer
2. Open Finder, select your device from the left side
3. Select ‘Files’ from the menu that goes across the top of the screen (it’s under the details about your device)
4. Find myArmsCache and tap the arrow on the left to see a list of the files — there should be 3 files.
5. Select/copy all 3 files and copy them to your computer
6. Disconnect your device
7. Connect your second device (you need to already have the myArmsCache app installed)
8. In Finder, select your device, then go to the myArmsCache folder (like you did previously)
9. Drag/copy ALL 3 files from your computer (from step 5) to the myArmsCache folder on your second device. If it asks you if you want to replace the files that are already there, select Replace.
10. Disconnect your second device
11. Open the myArmsCache app. If you don’t see the items, completely close the app and reopen it.
* If the screen comes up prompting you to purchase a subscription, scroll down and tap on Restore Purchase.

** Even if you’re backing up your data with iCloud or iTunes, I also recommend using File Sharing to keep a copy of the databases on your computer. This provides an extra safeguard in case you have an issue with your device or are unable to restore it from a backup.
